VOYAGER

Crypto For All

Bringing crypto to everyone

THE OPPORTUNITY

Voyager came to us as a relative newcomer to the crypto space, with a brand that had little awareness with the general public. They needed a new position, campaign, and identity to help separate them from the sea of sameness in crypto, as well as stake out a meaningful stance for the brand to rally against.

The Work

The stereotype that exists is that crypto is a world for basement dwellers hopped up on energy drinks, trolling subreddits, posting dank memes–a boys’ club with little diversity.

We sought to counter that stereotype, and make crypto feel more welcoming, more inclusive, and less daunting–Crypto For All.

For our launch campaign, we wanted to give a human face to crypto–and celebrate the diverse people and personalities that make up the community, while encouraging others to join.

We auditioned over 150 real crypto traders from all walks of life, eventually interviewing a few dozen, and narrowing down to 4 for our first films.

The films, directed by David M Helman and captured by Andrew Droz Palermo, each feature one of our subjects and their unique perspective on crypto. We knew that a straight “real person” documentary style would be too expected. Instead, the stylized visuals are inspired by soundbites recorded in various interviews, and build in a state of heightened reality–the dreams, feelings, and ambitions felt trading and investing brought to life. The films challenge the status quo of who the typical crypto investor might be, and embody the promise of Crypto For All.

A Pop of Brutalism

In addition to the launch films, we redesigned the brand from the ground up with a distinct look and feel. From display ads, to social, to events, to merch–the new look has permeated every aspect of the brand.

“You guys consistently create incredible work. Very glad I got to work with you.”
